POST TITLE: Safety Manager SALARY SCALE: Depend on Qualification & Experience RESPONSIBLE TO: Deputy Managing Director / Chief of Operation The Safety Manager will be responsible for the review, development, implementation and monitoring of the Company’s Health and Safety management systems, to ensure the safety of staff, worker subcontractors and contractors, in line with current Health and Safety and associated legislation. This post also has responsibility for the line management of the Safety Officer. MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES 1. Review and develop all aspects of the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Policy and activity, and ensure that it is implemented consistently across the Company. 2. Monitor, evaluate and review existing, new and upcoming Health, Safety and Environment legislation and ensure that the Company has systems and procedures in place to meet legal compliance. 3. Work proactively with managers and other key staff to establish and maintain a programs of continuous improvement in the management of Health, Safety and Environment within their areas of responsibility, which includes conducting regular audit. 4. Ensure that rigorous risk assessment and accident management systems are in place to enable Faculty and Resource areas, including outreach centers, to undertake risk assessment processes to identify hazards and to ensure that appropriate control measures are in the place. 5. Maintain a central record of all risk assessment and monitor recording within Directorate and Resource areas. Approve risk assessments for new & projects, and workplace assessment. 6. Discuss areas for improvement with relevant staff and/or external bodies and agree appropriate corrective action. 7. Assist with fire risk assessments according to an agreed schedule and in line with legal requirements. 8. Liaise with Occupational Health service staff on health surveillance where a risk assessment has identified a need, including carrying out stress risk assessment when required. Maintain appropriate records. 9. Provide Company staff with comprehensive and relevant information and training on Company Health, Safety and Environment systems and procedures, includes, including advising on equipment purchase and workplace practices. 10. Maintain the accident and ‘near missed’ database and prepare reports for Health, Safety and Environment Committee and Corporation, using statistical and other analytical tools. Inform the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) of accidents or incidents that require notification. 11. Undertake the planning and implementation of fire drills and other evacuation procedures as part of the Company’s Emergency Plan and Business Continuity teams. 12. Ensure that appropriate records are maintained in compliance with legal requirements and that necessary notices are displayed and reviewed. 13. Design and deliver training sessions on key areas of Company activity relation to Health and Safety and support the delivery of other training programs, including new staff induction and Duty Manager training. 14. Be a member of the Company’s Health, Safety and Environment Committee, and actively promote a safe environment throughout the Company. 15. Attend regular update training on Health and Safety legislation and the application of key policies in an Industrial & Construction area and advise Company management of key development and areas for change/improvement. 16. Ensure compliance with, and implementation of, all Company policies and procedures that impact on the delivery of effective Health and Safety systems, including Date Protection, the Single Equality Scheme and Safeguarding.

คุณสมบัติเพิ่มเติม

Male or Female with Bachelor degree in Environment, Health and Safety or Professional Certificate in Occupation Safety and Health.
Proven experience as Safety Manager.
Min. 7 years working in construction or other related field
Deep understanding of legal and developing relevant policies
Good knowledge of data analysis and risk assessment.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
Computer skill in using internet, email, Microsoft office (word, excel, etc.)
Working in Bangkok office 6 days per week.
Self-transportation from/to accommodation and office.
Able to travel and work in the project in another country if require.
