Receptionist (Hostess)

หน้าที่และความรับผิดชอบ

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and bid them farewell on departure, creating a positive first and last impression
• Manage reservations received by phone, online platforms, and walk-ins; confirm bookings and keep reservation records accurate
• Assign tables and seat guests to balance section workloads and support table turnover
• Manage the waiting list and communicate waiting times clearly to guests during busy periods
• Inform the service team and kitchen of guest arrivals, special requests, allergies, celebrations, and VIP guests
• Answer phone calls and guest enquiries about the menu, opening hours, events, and promotions
• Handle guest feedback and complaints at the entrance politely, and escalate to the Supervisor when needed

คุณสมบัติ

คุณสมบัติด้านความรู้และความสามารถ

• Experience as a host / hostess or receptionist in a restaurant, bar, or hotel
• Experience with restaurant reservation systems or online booking platforms
• Able to communicate in English with guests
• Additional languages (e.g. Chinese) are an advantage
• Friendly, polite, and confident in welcoming and assisting guests
• Systems Basic computer skills; able to learn reservation and POS systems
• Honest and reliable, and lives Akara's HANUMAN core values
• Calm and organised under pressure during busy periods
