Prepare and manage project budgets, including cost estimation and financial control to ensure alignment with project objectives. Perform quantity take-offs and prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ) for presentation to executive management or project owners.
Review contracts, documentation, and related terms and conditions, including agreements between the company and contractors (such as lump-sum contracts covering both materials and labor, or labor-only contracts), as well as other relevant project agreements. Provide findings and recommendations to supervisors or management for consideration prior to approval.
Monitor, review, and control the Master Schedule and short-term schedules (e.g., 3-Week Schedules) to ensure alignment with project objectives. Develop and implement acceleration plans as required to mitigate delays and maintain overall project timelines.
Oversee project schedules and approve shop drawings, material submittals, and related construction documents.
Identify, evaluate, and appoint qualified contractors and skilled trades personnel based on technical capability, experience, and alignment with project requirements. Provide strategic oversight and governance to ensure contractor performance fully complies with contractual obligations, project specifications, and corporate standards.
Plan, coordinate, and oversee the procurement process for materials and equipment directly sourced by the company, ensuring compliance with established standards and maximizing value and benefits to the organization.
Review and present construction methods, and provide recommendations as necessary, to validate the construction budget proposed by the Estimation team and to support the approval process for the revised construction budget.
Monitor, control, and prepare cash flow reports and financial forecast reports for projects.
Prepare monthly construction progress reports highlighting progress, issues, and corrective actions for management review.
Coordinate with design consultants and contractors to ensure project alignment and compliance with engineering, architectural, and project standards.
Analyze and prevent construction issues through coordination with stakeholders to ensure standard-compliant project execution.
Coordinate and control contractor activities to ensure adherence to project plans and schedules.
Develop and manage team performance and organizational structure in alignment with project workload.
