Manufacturing Cost Accountant - Manager
Position Overview:
As a Manufacturing Cost Accountant - Manager, you will be responsible for managing and analyzing all aspects of product costing within our manufacturing operations. You will work closely with various departments to ensure accurate cost calculations, monitor inventory levels, and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

Key Responsibilities:
Cost Tracking and Analysis:
Monitor the receipt and issuance of raw materials to accurately track inventory levels and costs.
Calculate and analyze the cost of goods sold (COGS) for each product, incorporating material, labor, and overhead expenses.
Conduct regular cost variance analysis to identify discrepancies and investigate root causes.
Inventory Management:
Maintain accurate records of raw material inventory, finished goods, and work-in-progress (WIP).
Reconcile physical inventory counts with system records and investigate any discrepancies.
Develop inventory control measures to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
Production Costing:
Track monthly production costs, including labor expenses, equipment usage, and utilities such as electricity.
Work closely with production supervisors to understand production processes and ensure accurate cost allocation.
Provide cost insights and analysis to support decision-making regarding production scheduling and resource allocation.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
Assist in the development of annual budgets and forecasts related to manufacturing costs.
Monitor actual performance against budgeted targets and provide explanations for variances.
Collaborate with finance and operations teams to identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
Reporting and Documentation:
Prepare regular reports on manufacturing costs, inventory levels, and variances for management review.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of cost-related transactions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls.
Present findings and recommendations to senior management to support strategic decision-making.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Over 5 years of experience as proven experience in cost accounting or financial analysis within a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of inventory management principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems, with advanced Excel skills.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally and present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities effectively.
Be able to work 6 days per week, and working at Samut Sakhon Province.
