Operate and maintain Linux servers to ensure availability, performance, and security

Monitor system health, logs, and alerts

Troubleshoot incidents and perform root cause analysis

Execute routine operational tasks including patching, backup, and system maintenance

Support AWS cloud services (EC2, VPC, IAM, S3)

Monitor cloud resource utilization and performance

Support security and compliance controls

Coordinate with cloud service providers or managed service partners

Identify repetitive or manual operational tasks suitable for automation

Participate in automation initiatives using scripts and automation tools (e.g. Ansible)

Support execution and validation of automated workflows

Work with team members to improve efficiency and reduce manual effort

Support IT services defined in the Service Catalog

Ensure service outputs are consistent, traceable, and audit-ready

Contribute ideas to improve service quality and reliability

Continuously learn infrastructure automation, cloud best practices, and AI-assisted operations

Align skill development with the Cloud and Automation team roadmap

Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience)

Linux system administration experience (RHEL / Ubuntu)

Basic AWS cloud knowledge

Scripting or automation mindset (Bash, Python)

Familiarity with Git version control

Willingness to learn automation tools and new technologies

Exposure to Ansible, Terraform, or automation tools

Familiarity with GitLab or Git-based platforms

Basic CI/CD understanding

Understanding of IT service management concepts

Interest in automation, process improvement, or AI technologies
