Key Roles and Responsibilities
1. Cost Management and Quotation
- Cost Analysis and Calculation: Analyze and precisely calculate project costs by performing quantity take-offs (BOQ) from project drawings. This includes accurately calculating direct costs, labor, operational expenses, and costs from subcontractors.
- Quotation Preparation: Determine the gross profit (GP) and prepare comprehensive quotations to support the sales team, including quotes for after-sales services.
- Price Verification: Verify and confirm the accuracy of the selling price on all customer purchase orders.
2. Production and Material Data Management
- Production Data Control: Ensure the accuracy of production costs, production plans, and the Bill of Materials (BOM).
- Production Standardization: Create standardized material usage formulas and product codes for all production items.
3. Coordination and Consultation
- Budget Planning: Provide consultation and prepare budgets for the procurement department for sourcing subcontractors and materials.
- Cross-Functional Coordination: Act as a central point of contact to coordinate with all relevant departments, including Production, Procurement, Accounting, Design, and Sales.
- Relationship Management: Coordinate with customers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth and timely project execution.
4. Technical and Administrative Support
- Preliminary Drawing Preparation: Use AutoCAD to create preliminary drawings for supplier price evaluations.
- Executive Consultation: Provide relevant information and advice to support senior management's decision-making.
