Job Description :
- Assist. Reservation Manager of HOTEL MANAGEMENT SDN BHD including 9 hotels, Vouk village, G9 HOTEL ,THE WAI HOTEL, VJ RESORT, GRAND OLIVER HOTEL, OLIVER HOTEL, MBI RESORT, M HOTEL, M SOHO. - Assist Reservations Manager in planning, recruiting, motivating, training, appraisals and development activities for the Reservations Staff. To ensure they are equipped with the necessary knowledgeskills to carry out their daily functions and assigned tasks efficiently and effectively. - Ensure proper filing and recording of all correspondence pertaining to contract established by the Sales Marketing Department with commercial companies, travel agents and airlines. - Review occupancy and forecast to maintain the occupancy and push on market to drive revenue. - Assist the Reservations Staff to reply emails, letters, faxes and enquiries with regards to room reservations and hotel facilities when required. - Ensure that all updates and any new information and promotions of hotel and related reservations activities are disseminated to all Reservations Staff on a timely manner. - Assist Reservation Staff re-check next day arrival correspondents for Front Office to make sure the bookings are corrected and document support are completed. - Handing Online distribution channels. - To be make OTA registration for new property, OTA Page Set Up textphoto, OTA Ranking Monitoring, OTA Rate Disparity Monitoring, OTA Promotion Tactics Initiative, OTA Liaison Relationship, OTA Guest Comments Answering, Other routine tasks payment, record, track, etc are required. - Responsibility for inventory control and take decision for closere-open room allotment sell and support Online Travel Agent such as, Agoda.com, Booking.com, Hotel Website, etc Maximize the number of booking on each OTAs compared with competitors. - Benchmark customer experience with direct competitors. - Benchmark price with direct competitors and distribution OTAs channels. - Communicate with Travel Agent, Corporate, Airline and issued contract rate. - SiteMinder controlling room rate and inventory. - Act as main point of contact for travel agency and VIP client, including support reception duties. - Work closely with the other departments concerned to ensure guest requirements are met. - Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports. - Support hotel and departmental directions and work to achieve incremental sales. - Holds communication meetings within the section on time to time when necessary. - Liaise and work closely among Head Quarter team FO team and cluster hotel properties in between departments to ensure good cohesion for the guest stays.
