- Managed and executed both Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Corrective Maintenance (CM) for electrical wiring, installation of electrical systems (including plugs, switches, main panels, pumps, and various equipment) within power plant buildings, such as the Boiler Building, ESP Building, Cooling Tower Building, and Main Electrical Distribution Building (MCC Room).
- Oversaw the electrical generation and distribution process, including controlling the power supply from switchgear cabinets to various facilities like the Crusher Building, Boiler Building, Crystallizer and Centrifuge Building, and Administration Building.
- Prepared and managed documentation for electricity sales to the sugar mill and the sale of surplus power to the Provincial/Metropolitan Electricity Authority (PEA).
- Controlled and managed the power supply to motors operating various systems within the power plant for relevant sections, such as the Grate Motor, IDF Motor, FDF Motor, Boiler Feed Water Pump Motor, and others.
- Conducted routine electrical system checks, including insulation resistance testing for all motors and transformers, and inspection of Capacitor Bank values.
- Ensured the daily operational readiness of the Diesel Generator. During the crushing season, managed and monitored the running of the main turbine and generator to prevent issues and minimize downtime/breakdown of the continuous crushing process.
- Tested the Controller system in collaboration with Operators to confirm operational capability via both local control (onsite) and the Distributed Control System (DCS) prior to the start of the crushing season.
