Job Description

  • Regulatory Department
  • Responsibilities:Ensure all products comply with legal and regulatory requirements of each destination country for export.
  • Coordinate with government authorities and customers to ensure all permit applications and documentation are accurate and complete.
  • Formula & Ingredient Compliance
  • Verify that all ingredients in the product formula are listed in the destination countrys positive list.
  • Check the status of ingredients with animal origin to ensure compliance with hygiene and veterinary requirements (e.g., DLD, CFIA, EFSA, BfR, etc.).
  • Regulatory Submission & Documentation
  • Prepare and submit applications for import/export permits and related certificates.
  • Compile and maintain documents such as Annex 1, product lists, formula sheets, and supporting documents.
  • Liaise with relevant authorities such as DLD (Department of Livestock Development) in Thailand or overseas agencies like CFIA (Canada), USDA (USA), etc.
  • Labeling & Claim Review
  • Review product labels to ensure compliance with destination country regulations, including language requirements, mandatory statements, and prohibited claims.
  • Verify that logos or claims (e.g., Dolphin Safe, nutrition claims) are used in accordance with legal permissions.
  • Regulation Monitoring
  • Monitor and update new regulations and standards from key trading partners (e.g., EU, USA, China, Japan, etc.).
  • Analyze the potential impact of new or revised regulations on existing products.
  • Internal Coordination
  • Collaborate with QA/QC, Production, R&D, and Sales teams to adjust product formulas or labels for compliance.
  • Update internal teams on new requirements or changes that may affect production or market access.
  • Prepare documentation and relevant information for government inspections (e.g., DLD inspection).
