Job Description

Responsible for teaching 7 courses (1. Estimation of Electrical Installations 2. Electrical Installations in Buildings 3. Lighting 4. Transformers 5. Energy Management Techniques 6. Health, Safety, and Environment 7. Electrical and Electronic Mathematics) at the vocational certificate level, serving as the primary instructor. The job responsibilities are summarized as follows:
- Design and develop teaching materials for electrical system design, both high voltage and low voltage, covering load calculations and equipment selection such as Transformers, MDBs, wiring, and Circuit Breakers.
- Convey knowledge of electrical system design within buildings, including lighting systems, power distribution systems, grounding systems, and lightning protection systems.
- Teach the preparation of BOQ (Bill of Quantities) and systematic cost estimation for electrical systems (including the preparation of BOM (Bill of Materials) and TOR (Terms of Reference)).
- Supervise and provide guidance on actual installation work, such as wiring, conduit installation, and Consumer Unit installation, ensuring compliance with engineering standards.
- Instruct on international standards (IEC, IEEE) and explain engineering drawing practices, such as Shop Drawings and As-built Drawings.
- Teach and advise on energy management, legislation, and engineering safety (delivering these courses in conjunction with other subjects).

Job Description

- Read and interpret engineering drawings to compare technical specifications with actual components (Drawing vs Actual) in the manufacturing process of parts, and analyze issues in the production process (Defect Data) according to AQL standards.
- Inspect structures, test performance, and analyze the root causes of abnormalities in electric motors using specialized measuring instruments such as Impulse Winding Tester and Hi-pot Test.
- Develop a testing jig for Handheld Fan operation by designing electrical circuits, programming (Arduino/C++) to control the operation of the jig, and preparing documentation for materials and budgeting for equipment (The developed jig can capture more waste on the production line).
- Prepare quality system documentation, calibration process manuals, and analyze tolerance data to improve the manufacturing process.
