Job Description

  • • Assess the nutritional status of patients based on baseline data such as weight, height, and BMI, and continuously monitor changes in body composition.
  • • Calculate the appropriate energy and nutrient intake for patients based on their medical condition and bodily needs.
  • • Plan and prepare meals tailored to each patient, considering underlying conditions such as diabetes, kidney disease, and malnutrition.
  • • Monitor and evaluate the amount of food consumed by patients at each meal using percentage criteria such as 25%, 50%, 75%, and 100%.
  • • Record food consumption data and summarize results for use in nutritional care planning.
  • • Provide basic nutritional counseling to patients and their families to promote appropriate health care.
  • • Participate in meal preparation and verify the accuracy of food according to the nutritional plan.
  • • Control the quality, cleanliness, and safety of food according to sanitation principles.
  • • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team, including physicians, nurses, and relevant staff.
  • • Use basic programs such as Microsoft Excel to record data and perform nutritional calculations.

Job Description

  • • Analyze clinical data of patients, such as laboratory results, medical history, and nutritional status, to develop appropriate nutritional therapy plans.
  • • Assess the risk of malnutrition and determine nutritional care guidelines tailored to the patient's condition.
  • • Develop individualized nutritional therapy plans, considering energy and protein requirements and disease limitations.
  • • Monitor the response to nutritional therapy plans, such as changes in weight, nutrient levels, and food intake.
  • • Continuously adjust feeding plans based on the patient's condition and symptoms.
  • • Provide in-depth nutritional counseling to patients and their families to support treatment and rehabilitation.
  • • Oversee and calculate appropriate enteral nutrition for each patient.
  • • Participate in developing dietary guidelines for specific diseases, such as kidney disease, diabetes, and critically ill patients.
  • • Systematically record nutritional data and prepare summary reports to support treatment.
  • • Coordinate with the multidisciplinary team to ensure effective and continuous patient care.
