The Thai Silk Company and the brand Jim Thompson was founded by James H.W. Thompson in 1951 while undertaking the task to revive the Thai silk industry. The “King of Silk” was a man of multiple dimensions: a visionary entrepreneur, a great marketer, an art collector, an aesthete, a man of action and conviction. Above all, he was driven by a great love for Thai people and their rich culture.

The Thai Silk Company continues to be inspired by its founder’s values. The brand is active in fashion, home furnishings, art and cuisine. At our 40 boutiques we offer personal goods like scarves, neckties, women’s and men’s ready-to-wear, leather and silk accessories, handbags, small leather goods and finished home products like cushions, table cloths and more.

We are simply a brand of culture, drawing our inspiration exclusively from elements of the rich and diverse South Asian cultures.

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

• Lead and improve Demand & Supply to support business goal
• Manage operations planning, material supply management, life cycle product management, capacity planning, supply & scheduling reporting
• Drive the demand and supply planning process to support and ensure that operation level the demand & supply planning team is aligned with the priorities and activities of the business and other functions
• Alert for PR/PO and follow up shipment with procurement team and suppliers from various markets to ensure right stock level
• Maintain an optimal inventory level and minimize risk of out-of-stock situation to ensure issues and problems can be identified promptly and solved timely
• Analyze data to identify areas of supply chain operations to improve efficiency (Capacity versus Demand analysis)
• Facilitate collaboration meetings with stakeholders to review risk, to close operational gaps, proposed orders, and other operational issues
• Supply Planning: Analyze and evaluate the supply plan and net dispatch requirement to satisfy customer needs taking into account the network complexity and the supply constraints
• Manage supply of new product launch to ensure the availability according to the new product launch time, include product transition scenario and executed in high-paced environment, with strong focus on cross-functional collaboration with merchandising and planning stakeholders
• Determine key issue with volume variance that may impact supply, highlight to MPS Planner by – challenging exiting Logistic and Supply planning process and tools-implementing improvements to deliver tangible benefits e.g. timesaving, increased efficiencies, etc. Monitoring requirement evaluation.
• Analyze and effectively communicate relevant information – highlighting all supply issues. Detailing impacts of proposed actions and related tradeoffs-Ensuring actions and supply plans are realistic and achievable in accordance with Business Planning Process.
• Challenge manufacturing on regular basis to manage lot sizes, cycle times and R&P inventory levels to drive optimum FG inventory level. Also, to challenge and support Demand Planner (domestic and IMS) to improve Demand Planning Accuracy.
• Proactively raise or alert commercial for the potential slow moving and obsolete items including driving commercial on slow moving and absolute items clearance Identify and develop new ideas & lead projects that improve demand & inventory processes.
• Assist in supply chain projects and transition to deliver business goals while minimizing disruptions.
• Build and maintain collaboration with market (following demand trends and seasonal variations) combined with excellent customer service (Variety of countries and cultures).
• Understand end-to-end supply chains from plants to customers to manage seamless supply network with muti-function teams.
• Bring together plans for the business (Sales & Marketing, New Products, Manufacturing, Supply Chain & Financial) into integrated a set of plans to be presented and analyzed within the S&OP process, reviewing and challenging assumptions, risks and opportunities.

• Have strong experience in Supply Planning (2-5 years in Supply Chain).
• Strong leadership skills; can assert direction setting and interventions from remote locations when required.
• Strong analytical skills; can engage in technical tools when required as-well as structure complex and considerable amount of data to create usable information.
• Strong collaboration skills; Can easily navigate between organization levels; work productively with junior Demand Planners, Supply Chain leaders abd Global VP alike.
• Communication – Effective verbal and written communication skills, including excellent presentation skills. Can communicate with people from multiple organizations at multiple levels, and can provide strategic/tactical guidance in a collaborative, consultative, and positive manner.
• Ability to rapidly adapt to a constantly changing environment and being able to continuously prioritize and assess how to operate effectively in the role.
• Skilled in MS Office. SAP and Visal Basic knowledge will be an asset.
• Passion for supply chain analysis and improvement
• Experience in developing supply chain system from organization, system and process is preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated success working with and influencing team members to achieve goals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate effectively with all levels of management and vendors
• Drive the improvements in KPIs such as forecast accuracy, sales planning executions, etc. for operational excellence.
