ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล ถือเป็นห้างสรรพสินค้าอันดับหนึ่งของประเทศไทย เมื่อพิจารณาจากยอดการจำหน่าย และความนิยมของผู้บริโภค ความโดดเด่นของห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล ได้คัดสรรสินค้าที่มีคุณภาพและมีความหลากหลาย การจัดวางสินค้า การตกแต่งพื้นที่ภายในห้างสรรพสินค้า ซึ่งช่วยส่งเสริมบรรยากาศการจับจ่าย ตลอดจนการให้บริการของพนักงาน ปัจจุบันห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัลมี 9 สาขา (รวมห้างสรรพสินค้าเซน) ตั้งอยู่ในกรุงเทพฯ อีก 4 สาขาในต่างจังหวัด ที่เชียงใหม่ ภูเก็ต หาดใหญ่ พัทยา พร้อมกันนี้ จะเปิดสาขาใหม่อีก 2 สาขา คือ ที่ เซ็นทรัลเฟสติวัล หาดใหญ่ กับ เซ็นทรัลเฟสติวัล เชียงใหม่ ในปลายปี 2556 รวมทั้งสิ้น 15 สาขาในประเทศไทย นอกจากนี้ยังมีสาขาในประเทศจีน อีก 3 สาขา คือ ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล เมืองหังโจว (ซ่างไท่) เปิดเมื่อวันที่ 1 พฤษภาคม 2553, ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล เมืองเสิ่นหยาง เปิดเมื่อวันที่ 24 กันยายน 2554, และ ห้างสรรพสินค้าเซ็นทรัล เมืองเฉิงตู (ว่านเซี่ยงเฉิง) เปิดเมื่อวันที่ 29 กันยายน 2555

หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ
-Analyze & review product categories for NPD & suppliers’ selection
-Specify the direction of product development to satisfy consumer demand in needed aspects such as brand image, sales & profits
-Assess profit standard of each product category to achieve target
-Plan and specify the product quantities in each category to match the direction and policy of company
-Assess market situation, analyze, plan and manage the assigned category to achieve sales and profit
-Prepare monthly sales report and analyze report in every aspect such as sales of each department, each supplier, they're big about the lor each brand
-Check label and packaging against approved design for submitting permission of printing
-Following the implementation of planogram and liaise with Macro & Micro space for potential adjustment
-Attend assortment review meeting in the responsible category with merchandising team
-Develop efficient and effective working process under company policy
-Control the performance of non move, non sales, shortage, hold product, MLOR and also other performance of department
-Consult and solve problems about products, suppliers, branches according to department policy
-Coach and mentor team to develop working performance and plan manpower and prepare needed information to train new staffs
-Set KPI and evaluate & assess staff performance
Support new projects as assigned such as cross BU synergy, new branch opening etc.
