• Vela Software is expanding our high-performing M&A deal origination team. We’re seeking a driven and entrepreneurial Business Development Manager to identify and nurture acquisition opportunities that align with our strategic goals.
• This is a C-level facing role where you’ll play a pivotal part in our transaction lifecycle.
• Source and qualify software company acquisition targets that meet our strategic and financial criteria.
• Build and maintain relationships with founders, CEOs, business owners, brokers, PE/VC funds, and other stakeholders.
• Manage and nurture a pipeline of M&A opportunities through meaningful engagements and follow-ups.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM (Salesforce preferred) and contribute to our proprietary industry database.
• Review company materials and conduct preliminary assessments.
• Analyze industry trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging opportunities for growth.

• Minimum 5 years of progressive experience in Software Sales / Business Development or M&A sourcing / Corporate Development.
• Native Thai speaker with excellent English communication skills (highly desirable).
• Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Proven success in cold outreach (calls, emails, and other channels).
• Proficiency with CRM platforms (Salesforce preferred).
• Self-starter with a high level of autonomy, intellectual curiosity, and strategic thinking.
• Excellent time management, attention to detail, and organizational skills.
• Adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
