หน้าที่ความรับผิดชอบ

• Market research / Demand
• Conduct market research to ensure products and suppliers match demand, and ensure contracted products match Asian Trails standards in terms of value, inventory, accessibility, and quality.
• Forecast price trends and their impact on future activities.
• Evaluate market demand and requirements and make recommendations, based on commercial and technical factors.
• Monitor and forecast upcoming levels of demand and ensure inventory / products meet the anticipated levels.

• Sourcing Strategy / Competitiveness
• Develop a multilayered contracting strategy for Thailand and support the adoption, localization for each unit’s needs in collaboration with the unit’s Managing Directors.
• Perform frequent analysis and benchmarking vs. competitors and help drive improvement and changes within local unit’s contracting approach.
• Liaise between suppliers, customers, and relevant internal departments to ensure overall inventory meets customers demand in terms of inventory, availability, and price.
• Track and report key functional metrics to improve effectiveness.
• Maintain excellent supplier relationships (chains, preferred hotels) and (re)negotiate the best possible rates.

• Training / Coaching
• Train and supervise the work of other members of staff.
• Create and maintain an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture where you set clear team goals together with senior management, delegate tasks with clear guidelines and deadlines, and continue to train, coach and develop the various team members.

• Finance / Operations and Fulfillment
• Support where needed the whole booking process from enquiry to payment follow up within Asian Trails Thailand and help formulate best practices for the Group if required.
• Coordinate with operations for site inspections, FAMs and groups on spot, to ensure optimal on-the-ground handling.
• Formulate and support the implementation of SOPs where required.
• Follow up to ensure that the supplier invoices are paid on time.
