In bringing together the best of traditional and innovative learning from the East and the West, MIS provides students with a specialized programme that combines the English National Curriculum (ENC) and Chinese National Curriculum (CNC) in an introduction to the essential knowledge that they need to be educated global citizens for the 21st Century.

The very structured English National Curriculum program, allows schools to include other subjects or topics of their choice in planning and designing their own programme of education. The ENC is organized on the basis of four key stages (see below) and twelve subjects, classified in legal terms as ‘core’ and ‘other foundation’ subjects.

The UK government publishes programmes of study for each national curriculum subject, setting out the ‘matters, skills and processes’ to be taught at each key stage.

The ‘core’ subjects considered to be at the centre of the curriculum – English, maths and science. All the other subjects Art and Design, Citizenship, Computing and IT, Design and Technology, Languages, Geography, History, Music and P.E. are known as the Foundation Subjects.

At MIS many of the Foundation Subjects are brought together through topic-based learning of the English STEAM programme (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics). Our thematic studies are chosen to reflect the international nature of our school. Themes often start with some kind of event, perhaps a trip, a visit from an expert or a problem that needs solving. The theme will develop over a period of weeks allowing for experimentation, investigation and the acquisition of knowledge. The theme will finish with a celebration, perhaps a presentation, an assembly, a report or a special piece of work.

The second central element of the MIS Curriculum sees students engage in the progressive Chinese National Curriculum. A comprehensive Chinese language programme, which sees MIS students achieving HSK (Chinese Proficiency Test) results of level 3 in Primary 3 and HSK 4 in Primary 6, is enhanced by specialist teaching in Mandarin for mathematics, Science and other elements of the full Chinese National Curriculum.

Additionally, MIS students benefit from a stimulating and creative curriculum that allows for growing independence and responsibility. Lessons in Modern Chinese Philosophy, the Kid-Entrepreneur mindset, and topic-based learning of the Mandarin Rising STEAM programme (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art and Mathematics) including AI and Coding.

MIS students benefit from a stimulating and creative curriculum that allows for happy, confident and enthusiastic learners, growing in independence and responsibility, with regular assessments to ensure that all children achieve to the best of their abilities.

Job Description:
1. Strategic HR Planning:
• Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with the three companies' overall business goals and objectives.
• Collaborate with senior management to understand the business needs and provide HR insights for strategic decision-making.
2. Department Head KPI Development:
• Work closely with the Head of Departments to establish and refine Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) that align with business objectives.
• Ensure that KPIs are measurable and achievable, and contribute to the overall success of each department.
3. Recruitment and Talent Acquisition:
• Oversee the recruitment process for key positions, working with department heads to identify staffing needs.
• Develop and implement effective talent acquisition strategies to attract and retain high-caliber professionals.
4. Employee Engagement and Retention:
• Develop and implement employee engagement programs to foster a positive workplace culture.
• Collaborate with department heads to identify and address factors affecting employee retention.
5. Performance Management:
• Implement and manage performance appraisal systems to assess employee performance against set goals.
• Work with department heads to guide performance improvement plans when necessary.
6. Training and Development:
• Identify training needs within the departments and coordinate training programs accordingly.
• Support the development of career paths and succession plans for key roles.
7. Employee Relations:
• Address and resolve employee relations issues, ensuring a fair and consistent approach.
• Guide department heads on HR policies, procedures, and legal compliance.
8. HR Policy Development and Implementation:
• Develop and update HR policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant employment laws.
• Communicate changes in policies and ensure understanding among employees and department heads.
9. Compensation and Benefits Administration:
• Oversee the administration of compensation and benefits programs, ensuring competitiveness in the market.
• Collaborate with department heads to review and recommend salary adjustments based on performance.
10. HR Reporting and Analysis:
• Generate HR reports and analytics to provide insights into key HR metrics.
• Analyze trends and recommend proactive solutions to address HR-related challenges.

คุณสมบัติเพิ่มเติม

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
2. Minimum one year of progressive experience in HR leadership roles, preferably within a company group or multi-site organization.
3. Strong knowledge of KPI development, employee development planning, succession planning, and HR business planning.
4. Experience in compensation and benefits management, including salary benchmarking and incentive program design.
5. Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
6. Proven working experience as an HR Manager
7. People-oriented and results-driven
8. Knowledge of Thai Labour Law
9. Extensive knowledge of visa and immigration requirements for expatriate employees
10. Proficiency in Thai and English language, Chinese is preferred
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
A proactive, flexible, self-disciplined, calm-under-pressure attitude
12. IT literacy across a range of computer software
13. Extensive experience in the operation of a Human Resources Database.
14. Excellent active listening, negotiation and presentation skills
15. Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company
