- Participate in international railway projects as a consultant.
- Support railway experts by researching and analyzing railway signalling systems.
- Contribute to the PRAMS (Performance, Reliability, Availability, Maintainability, and Safety) working group of Europe’s Rail Joint Undertaking (EU-Rail), supporting the hazard database management.
- Conduct research on railway safety and interoperability standards, including: EN 50126-1/-2, EN 50128 and EN 50129.
- Study and analyze the Technical Specifications for Interoperability (TSIs), with emphasis ERTMS/ETCS SUBSET037-1, 037-2, 037-3, etc.
- Research the FRMCS (Future Railway Mobile Communication System) for UIC and ETSI, analyzing its role in replacing the GSM-R with LTE/5G for enhanced railway communication.
