Summary Under direct supervision, accepts currency and other forms of payment, records purchased items, gives change and produces receipts. To find the most efficient method in completing sale transactions while providing good customer service. Provides assistance as directed in other areas such as store cleanliness, security, line monitoring, inventory management, and handles routine telephone inquiries as required. Job Goals and Objectives •To perform and abide to all Retail Operations and Cash Handling Procedures. •To handle the processing of cash and credit transactions in the retail outlet. •To ensure total payments received is tallied with total sales of the store. •To be an ambassador for the represented BRAND and portray at all times a professional and customer oriented image. Duties & Responsibilities 1. Operations •To process sales quickly and efficiently. •Establish or identify prices of goods and tabulate bills using calculators, cash registers or optical price scanners. •To handle cash, credit cards, cheques, voucher or automatic debit transactions. For payment by credit cards, ensuring that the required authorization and procedures are adhered to. •To issue receipts, refunds, credits or change to customers. •To safeguard the cash register and at the end of the shift, to balance the amount of money taken in with the total sales recorded. 2.Customer Service •To provide exemplary customer services by greeting and acknowledging every customer. •To ensure customers’ complaints and requests are communicated to management. •Uphold the company’s image as a prestigious and luxurious brand at all times. •To support the basics for After Sales Service. 3.Grooming •To be presentable and well groomed at all times •To abide to the Dress Code standards. 4.Stock / Inventory •To assist in the inventory, monthly stock and any other tasks as assigned from time to time by the Managers. •Qualitative security measures to prevent theft and p

Housekeeping

•Maintain orderly appearance of the register area

•Ensure the store is kept neat and tidy at all times. 

•Ensure proper care for stocks, fixtures and furniture within the store.

•Be vigilant and practice regular checks on staff movements during operating hours. 

 

Working Conditions & Physical Effort 

•Work is normally performed in a typical retail outlet work environment. 

•Required to work retail operation hours according to scheduled shift.

•Moderate physical activity. Requires handling of average-weight objects up to 20 kg or standing and/or walking for more than eight (8) hours per day.
